When I hear Kentucky Republican Jim Bunning say “Oh, really?” in this WLRN podcast (iTunes link Should be “Florida officials look to Congress to support children’s health funding” from 7-02-07), I can totally see him saying it like “ORLY?” and it makes me lull. That’s the only way I can tolerate politics. By lolling!

There are so many things in life that I just don’t get. Like why do men have nipples? Or, why can’t people figure out the difference between “then” and “than”? Why do I get so annoyed by bad grammar, when my own grammar isn’t so polished? But at the top of my list of things [...]
