Gene is what I have code-named my computer. Gene is a 350 Mhz G3 PowerPC made by Apple Computer. Gene contains a 6 gigabyte hard drive, 256 megabytes of RAM, two 128 bit ATI Rage Graphics cards, 56K modem, an Ultra SCSI card, Zip 100 drive, and a DVD-ROM drive. Gene's current peripherals are as follows... Castlewood Orb Drive, Epson Stylus Color 740 printer, Keyspan Digital Media Remote, Logitech QuickCam Pro web camera, SIIG SmartMedia reader, Kensington TurboBall, FirePower 22 gigabyte FireWire hard drive, and Gene gets connected to the net through an Alcatel 1000 aDSL modem. In the past Gene has been outfitted with a Sony Spressa 4x4x32 CDRW, a Philips 2x2x8 CDRW, a Calcomp Creation Station pen tablet, and an Iomega USB Zip250 drive.
